When the light is best in Mudgee.
The best light is the last hour before sunset. Here's roughly when that is.
Summer
Sunset is around 8pm in December and January. Mudgee summers get properly hot, so a later ceremony and shade for your guests both help.
Autumn
Sunset is around 5:40pm by mid April, once daylight saving ends. Vintage season, golden vines and cooler days.
Winter
Sunset is around 5pm in June and July, and it gets cold fast once the sun drops. We plan your portraits for the afternoon, before the reception starts.
Spring
Sunset is around 7pm by mid October. Mild days and plenty of light into the evening.
We'll go through your timeline with you before the day and work out the best time for portraits.

We run Bloom Films out of Sydney. We make wedding films. Really good ones!
We started with a borrowed camera and no real idea what we were doing. That was nine years ago. Since then it's been 400+ weddings across NSW and beyond, and we still genuinely love showing up for every one.
The goal has never changed. We want to make something you actually sit down and watch. Not just a record of what happened. A film that holds the feeling of the whole day.
Based in Sydney. We've shot a bunch of weddings out in Mudgee and it never gets old. The vineyards, the golden light, the laid-back pace of the whole region. We're always happy to make the drive.
