When the light is best in Sydney.
The best light is the last hour before sunset. Here's roughly when that is.
Summer
Sunset is around 8pm in December and January. Long evenings, but a 3pm ceremony out in the open can be hot, so shade for your guests helps.
Autumn
Sunset is around 5:30pm by mid April, once daylight saving ends. Soft light and cooler days.
Winter
Sunset is around 5pm in June and July. It's dark early, so we plan your portraits for the afternoon, before the reception starts.
Spring
Sunset is around 7pm by mid October. Warm days and plenty of light into the evening.
We'll go through your timeline with you before the day and work out the best time for portraits.
Hi, we're Isaac and Sam.
We run Bloom Films out of Sydney, making wedding films for couples right across Sydney and NSW. Whether you're after cinematic wedding videography or a more documentary wedding video, that's what we do, and we'd like to think we do it really well.
We started with a borrowed camera and no real idea what we were doing. That was nine years ago. Since then it's been 400+ weddings across NSW and beyond, and we still genuinely love showing up for every one.
The goal has never changed. We want to make something you actually sit down and watch. Not just a record of what happened. A film that holds the feeling of the whole day.
Based in Sydney. Working all across NSW, Australia and the world. We're always happy to travel for the right wedding.
